SOUTH AFRICAN POWERLIFTING FEDERATION

Subjunior and Junior lifters are invited to apply for positions in the SA team for the World Subjunior and Junior Classic and Equipped Powerlifting Championships to be held in Romania from 23 August to 3 September. 

Lifters who qualified for the Classic Powerlifting team are listed here. (Subjunior and Junior columns only). Reserve lifters may also apply. 

Lifters who will be competing in the 2023 SA Equipped Powerlifting Championships and hope to qualify for a position in the Equipped Powerlifting team may also apply. Any lifters who are nominated but fail to qualify for the SA Team at SA Equipped Powerlifting Championships, will be removed from the nominations. 

How to apply to be included in the nominations:
Send the following details to Heather Leighton (HeatherJLeighton@gmail.com) by 24 June so that your nomination can be loaded into Goodlift:
- The event details: Classic Powerlifting and/or Equipped Powerlifting
- Your name
- A headshot (head and shoulders against a plain background)
- Your ADEL International Level Athlete Education Programme certificate
- A copy of your South African passport
- Signed IPF Consent form (download here)
