Survey - Sport Volunteers Research Project
The SASCOC Education and Culture Commission has been requested to assist with the above-mentioned research project. We are requesting your assistance to share this with all your members either via email and or your social media platforms.
Several South African Universities are currently collaborating with the University of Edinburgh in conducting research on volunteers and volunteerism in sport. The aim of the research it so establishes needs and inform the development of coursework for prospective volunteers to best serve the sport industry and gain valuable work-related experience in the sector.
The research aims to understand your views about why you choose to volunteer in sport. To achieve this, we have created this short survey to record your views as a volunteer. Broadly, we would like to understand why you volunteer, how supported you feel and any thoughts about how your experience could be improved.
